Al-Ahly announces the start of the procedures for the constitution of the football company

Sherif Fouad, spokesperson for Al-Ahly’s board of directors, announced that it had been decided to initiate legal and administrative procedures related to the establishment of the football company.

The council previously decided to form a committee headed by Khaled Murtaji, and the membership of council members Tariq Kandil and Muhammad Al Damati, to develop a comprehensive vision for the establishment of Al-Ahly Football Company.

“The council has previously decided to form 3 committees to discuss proposals and study Mahmoud Al-Khatib related to 3 public limited companies,” Fouad said in statements on Al-Ahly channel.

“Today, Tuesday, we heard the complete and accurate study presented by the committee formed under the chairmanship of Khaled Murtaji, Tariq Qandil, Muhammad Al-Damati and expert Ahmed Shams, on the soccer company,” he added.

“After hearing the study, the council thanked the committee and decided to start taking legal and administrative steps to establish Al-Ahly Football Company,” he continued.

“In the next few days other committees will be heard on other public limited companies related to tourism, real estate and the stadium,” he concluded.

The company aims to manage and organize the professional football sport and the work of the academies, and participate in various events and competitions, whether local, continental or global, and commercialize the partners: «broadcasting rights – sponsorship rights – licensed goods and products – cooperative marketing program products – Product announcements and certification – player transfers and assignments – New media sales – paid media programs for players and technical devices – academies – camps – matches … etc. ).
