Al-Ahly Announces Details of Muhammad Al-Shennawi’s Injury

The Al-Ahly club coaching staff announced details of the injury to Muhammad Al-Shennawi, the team’s goalkeeper, after he was injured during the team’s game against the Arab Contractors.

Al-Shennawi did not complete the match between Al-Ahly and Al-Mokawloon on matchday 31 of the Premier League competition, and left the stadium and played in his place, Ali Lotfi.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football, told the Al-Ahly club’s official website, “Al-Shennawi took an X-ray in a test that showed his connective muscle injury.”

He continued: “The medical apparatus has established a rehabilitation and hospitalization program for El Shennawi to prepare him for the first leg against Moroccan Wydad in the semi-finals of the African Champions League.”

“Al-Shennawi will conduct physical therapy sessions for several days before embarking on a physical program without rushing his return, in order to ensure his preparation and recovery from the injury in the best conditions before the Wydad encounter.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Enppi in round 32 of Premier League competition next Wednesday, and then face Pyramids on October 11, before traveling on October 13 in preparation for the Moroccan Wydad match on October 17. October.
