Ahmed El Shennawy, the goalkeeper for the Pyramids national team, appointed a Swiss lawyer and paid him part of the fees to follow up on the case of the £ 8 million fine caused by Zamalek. This lawyer is expected to go to FIFA to stop the fine, which the goalkeeper will pay a month after the decision is issued.

The management of the Pyramids Club responded to the fine of Ahmed El Shennawy, the goalkeeper of his team, estimated at 8 million pounds in favor of Zamalek, and the official website of the Zamalek Club published the decision of the complaints committee of the Association of Football on the case of Ahmed El Shennawy. The former Zamalek and the current Pyramids are 8 million pounds in favor of Zamalek, and if he does not pay the fine, he will be suspended indefinitely.

Ahmed El Shennawy was a goalkeeper for the Zamalek club from 2014 to 2018, before moving to Pyramids at the beginning of last season.

Al-Shennawi and Pyramids participated this season in just 16 matches, in the Egyptian Premier League, the African Confederation Cup and the Egypt Cup.

Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zamalek Club, confirmed that Ahmed El Shennawy, the goalkeeper of Pyramids, is obliged to pay the 8 million pounds that he had previously obtained from the White Castle, adding: “El-Shenawi is obliged to pay 8 million pounds, and I hope the president of Pyramids will pay the amount AND settle the matter amicably.

He went on to say that Ahmed El-Shenawy is a traitor because he sat down with Mahmoud Al-Khatib earlier to move to Al-Ahly without the knowledge of his club management at the time, Zamalek, and explained that he allowed El-Shenawi to go to the pyramids after getting 8 million pounds because at that time he had a good relationship with Turki Al-Sheikh, and he concluded: “You will return the money. Ahmed, Oh Shenawi, he has forgiven you, otherwise you will not touch another soccer ball. “
