If this accusation is proven against the artist, Rania Youssef, will face a prison sentence of no less than one year and no more than 3 years and a fine of one hundred to three hundred pounds, according to article 1 of the Anti-Prostitution Law No. 10 of 1961.
This article establishes: “Whoever incites a person, man or woman, to commit debauchery or prostitution, or assists or facilitates it, as well as whoever uses, attracts or seduces him with the intention of committing debauchery or prostitution, shall be punished with imprisonment of not less than one year and not more than three years and a fine of one hundred pounds to three hundred pounds “.
Article 14 of the same law establishes: “Whoever declares, by any means of publicity, an invitation that includes a temptation to immorality or prostitution, or calls attention to it, will be punished with a custodial sentence of no more than three years and fine not greater than one hundred pounds ”.
