FIFA announced that Ahmed Ahmed, president of the Confederation of African Confederation (CAF), has been suspended for a period of 5 years and has been banned from any sporting activity during that period.

The International Federation’s decision to suspend Ahmed Ahmed came after he was convicted of offering and accepting gifts and other benefits, embezzlement, financial irregularities and misuse of office.

The beginning of the discovery of Ahmed Ahmed’s corruption in Kef was through the late Egyptian “Amr Fahmy”, the former CEO of Kef, who exposed Ahmed Ahmed’s corruption to everyone through his search for FIFA and all the main sports fields.

The position of Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, has become ambiguous about the attendance at the Africa Final scheduled for next Friday between Al-Ahly and Zamalek at the Cairo Stadium after the overthrow of Ahmed Ahmed and the change of policies within Kef, and the Congolese Constant Al-Amri took over the management functions of CAF.

The last few days have seen correspondence from the Football Association to the CAF indicating that the Olympic Committee issued a decision to suspend Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek, for a period of 4 years, and Ahmed Ahmed’s council considered the Mortada Mansour’s suspension as an internal matter and had nothing to do with her attendance at the African final between Al-Ahly and Zamalek.

The most important question now, which will be answered in the next few days, remains: “Will the CAF’s position change regarding Mortada Mansour’s attendance at the African Final next Friday?”

And the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced today, Monday, that the Judicial Chamber of the Independent Securities Committee imposed a five-year suspension from practicing any football-related activity on Ahmed Ahmed, president of the African Football Confederation (CAF).

FIFA noted in a statement posted on its website that after a lengthy hearing, the Judicial Chamber ruled, based on information collected by the investigation chamber, that Ahmed Ahmed had breached the duty of loyalty, violated regulations and provided gifts and other benefits, mismanaged funds and abused his position as president of CAF, according to what is stipulated in the FIFA securities regulations.

The statement added: “Consequently, the Judicial Chamber concluded that Mr. Ahmed violated articles 15, 20 and 25 of the current version of the FIFA securities regulations, as well as article 28 of the 2018 version, and sanctioned him stopping all soccer-related activities (administrative, sports or other) locally and internationally for a period of five years, in addition to a fine of 200,000 Swiss francs.

The statement reads: “The investigation into Mr. Ahmed’s behavior in his position as director of CAF during the period between 2017 and 2019 was related to various corporate governance issues related to CAF, including the organization and financing of Hajj’s trips. and Umrah to Mecca, and his participation in CAF’s dealings with Tactical Steel Company for sports teams. And other activities. “
