Russia, for its part, suspended flights to and from Great Britain for a week, and Switzerland imposed a quarantine on those from Great Britain and South Africa, while Hong Kong and India announced a ban on flights from Great Britain.

India said it would suspend flights with Great Britain until the end of the year, while Canada announced the suspension of flights from Great Britain as well. Belgium also extended the ban on travel to Britain for an additional day.

Spain demanded a coordinated European response regarding travel to and from Great Britain after the Corona mutation, while the German government said the suspension of flights with Great Britain will begin at midnight last Sunday.

On the other hand, a correspondent for the channel “Al Arabiya” in Paris said that France is considering suspending flights to Great Britain. In turn, the Netherlands decided to prohibit the reception of flights carrying travelers from the United Kingdom, as of last Sunday.
