Hala Zayed, Minister of Health, received the British Ambassador to Egypt, Geoffrey Adams, on Wednesday to discuss means of cooperation in the supply of new vaccines against the Corona virus as soon as their effectiveness is proven.

Mujahid went on to say that the minister affirmed Egypt’s commitment to the fair distribution of vaccines as soon as their effectiveness is proven, and noted the cooperation with the Global Vaccine Alliance, “Jaffe” through the “COFEX” initiative to ensure the supply of new vaccines against the Corona virus as soon as their effectiveness is proven and urgently distributed to countries.
Mujahid indicated that the minister thanked the British ambassador for his country’s cooperation with Egypt in tackling the emerging corona virus and working to provide vaccines for the Corona virus through cooperation with British companies operating in this field.
For his part, the British ambassador appreciated the cooperation with Egypt in the supply of vaccines against the new Corona virus, and highlighted the interest of the embassy in fostering cooperation between the two countries in the field of health, especially after the development of the health system in Egypt.
