The Public Ministry ordered the arrest of the accused of the murder of two girls in the district of Qus, governorate of Qena, after his admission of having committed the crime.
The Public Ministry had received a notification at noon on August 27 that the bodies of two girls, one of whom was eighteen years old and the second twelve, had been found in their homes on Matarah Island, Qus Center, Qena Governorate, So I went to examine them and appointed a coroner to do an autopsy. In addition, the General Administration of Forensic Evidence Investigation was delegated to raise the physical effects of the accident scene for examination.
The Prosecutor’s Office asked the maternal uncle of the victim, who testified that their father was not with them because of his work in the Aswan governorate and that he found them massacred as soon as he looked for them to trust them.
The police investigations managed to determine the person of the accused perpetrator of the act, and the Public Ministry ordered his arrest for questioning, who admitted in the investigations of the Prosecutor’s Office that he had committed the crime in retaliation against the older victim after learning of his association with another person after an affectionate relationship with which they had been tied for some time, as well as the stabbing of his sisters and his conversation with whoever it was. She grew fond of him, so he killed her with a knife from her house, then killed her sister after she saw him commit his crime so that her affair would not be revealed.
The defendant related how he committed the crime at the scene of the accident during a photographic inspection carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Prosecutor’s Office assigned the Rio Rescue Department to search for the knife and the murder weapon that the defendant admitted to having thrown a channel into the Jazirah Island district in the Qous Center district, and investigations are being completed.
