The woman, who appeared in a video clip in which her son forced her to descend the stairs despite her disability, which occurred in Abu Hammad in Sharqiya, demanded the release of her son, a few hours after his arrest.
The woman said, in a video clip on the social media site, that the video was filmed about a year ago, as her daughter, Mona, filmed it after disagreements between her and her son, Saeed Abdul-Ghani, before demand their release.
The security services of the Eastern Security Directorate managed to arrest the young man. He was accused of humiliating his distant mother and forcing her down the stairs, crawling to the family home in the village of “Al-Abassa” in Abu Hammad.
Several of the pioneers of the social networking site “Facebook” circulated a video clip that showed the cruelty of a son towards his mother and made her crawl down the stairs of his house, unable to move to satisfy his wife, inside the Abu Center Hammad in Sharkia.
Immediately after the video was released, Muhammad Kamal al-Din al-Hajjaji, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Sharqia, ordered the formation of a rapid intervention committee to examine the video of the incident, which was found to have occurred in the Abu Hammad Center.
The accused was arrested, the necessary report was prepared and the Public Ministry was notified to carry out the investigations.
