The ministry stressed that Muslims are part of the country’s national fabric, and explained that calls for a boycott are unfounded and must be stopped immediately, like all attacks against France and that they are being driven by the extremist minority, according to a release.
The French Foreign Ministry urged the countries in question to disavow any calls for a boycott or any attack on France, while taking care to ensure the safety of French citizens abroad.
