Al-Azhar stated that “the marriage contract in Islam is a legitimate contract, based on religion, affection and mercy, and its civil documentation preserves the rights of its owners, just as Islam has absolutely prohibited the marriage of a Muslim woman with a non-Muslim man with a clear and explicit text in the Holy Quran, in which Almighty God said: {… and don’t let yourself be. The infidels and even the believer believe that Abdul is better than a polytheist, even those who call you like fire and God calls Heaven and forgiveness with their permission and shows His signs so that the people will remember him}. [البقرة: 221]».

The Al-Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa said in its fatwa on Wednesday night that the scholars of Islam had agreed, in ancient and modern times, the sanctity of this marriage. For the general meaning of the above-mentioned verse, and none of them disagreed on that, and if it had happened, it would have been invalid, just as it is not allowed, in the same way, to marry a Muslim man with a non-Muslim woman Except if she’s from the People of the Book. Judaism or Christianity, unless you are feared for your religion or the religion of your children; Due to the general meaning of the saying of Almighty God in the same verse mentioned above: {And do not marry women as a couple until he believes, and a faithful nation is better than a communion, and if she accepts …} [البقرة: 221]With the exception of what was excluded from His Almighty saying: {… and the fortified are those who gave the Book before you ..} [المائدة:5].

The Al-Azhar Center continued: The wisdom of allowing a Muslim to marry a woman from the People of the People of the People of the Book, although not otherwise allowed, can be summarized as follows:
(1) That the Muslim believes in all the prophets and glorifies them, and glorifies the books that they brought from God, His Sublime. Rather, your belief is not done without this.

(2) The Muslim is commanded to allow his written wife to establish their religious rituals and go to their place of worship, and it is forbidden to insult their sanctities.

(3) A Muslim is legally obliged to treat his wife, whether Muslim or Sheikh, well, and affection, mercy, and reassurance are desired in the Muslim’s family and the kibbutz.

(4) The obedience of a Muslim wife to her husband is obligatory for her, and if her marriage to a non-Muslim were allowed, her obedience would conflict with obedience to God, Glory to Him.

(5) A non-Muslim does not believe in Islam or its Prophet, and his Sharia does not oblige him to allow a Muslim woman to perform the rituals of his religion or respect its sanctities, which undoubtedly affects the affection between them and the performance of mutual rights.

Submission and submission are the basis for the Muslim’s dealing with what has come from the revelations of God, His Sublime, with the application of understanding in the wisdom of the Noble Sharia, and the belief that responding to the commandments of the Islam has life. The Almighty said: {O those who believe, answer to God and the Messenger, when He calls you when He gives you life And know that God will turn you on. [الأنفال: 24].
