Some press reports revealed the fact that Mohamed Hani, the star of Al-Ahly’s first soccer team, received professional offers during the current period, following his remarkable brilliance during the FIFA Club World Cup, in which Al-Ahly won the gold medal.
Some sources confirmed that Hani did not receive official offers from either club, but the matter did not overcome the interest of some foreign player agents and marketing companies, especially after Al-Ahly’s match against Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Bayern Munich manager Hans Flick praised Muhammad Hani in particular, noting that he is a distinguished player and deserves to be at Al-Ahly.
He added that it does not mean that he deserves to be in a European team so as not to underestimate the prestigious club Al-Ahly.
Egyptian national team and Al-Ahly club goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawy won the Al-Ahly and Palmeiras man award in the match for third place at the Qatar Club World Cup.
Al-Ahly won the Club World Cup bronze after winning 3-2 on penalties in the match that ended its original time 0-0 today, Thursday, at the Education City Stadium in the Qatari capital Doha .
