The activists claimed that the Brotherhood entrusts Kerman: “It does not represent the Yemeni or Arab streets, but is a front for intellectual and ideological supporters who totally contradict the requirements of this position in terms of neutrality, transparency and respect for the peoples, who enjoy hundreds of Arab public figures other than Tawakkol Kerman, whose selection attacks integrity and reputation. The Content Oversight Board is dead, and we Facebook users lose all confidence in this platform. “
The petition also included that Kerman’s election is a sign of complete ignorance of the nature of Arab political and social reality in which Kerman plays all roles in supporting terrorist regimes, manipulating the capabilities of home countries and incitement to violence, which is totally incompatible with the values of Facebook as a virtual platform that embraces diversity and supports the values of respecting the other and rejecting Violence.
The petition also included: “Kerman represents a particular duality, so how can a human rights activist turn a blind eye to the murder of thousands of civilians in his Arab region at the hands of those who support and support them?”
He called on activists, “Facebook,” to heed the views of hundreds of thousands of signatories to this petition, who flatly refuse to choose those who cause distress in their home countries to monitor and separate the content. of what they write, which hits the wall of all trust between Facebook and its users.
