Abolish free education in universities
The Media Center of the Council of Ministers confirmed that the news of the cancellation of free education in public universities, as of the 2020/2021 academic year, is unfounded in some media, websites and social media pages.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said that it is false to cancel free education in public universities, starting from the 2020/2021 academic year, and explained that free education will not be violated, as it is an inherent right of Egyptians guaranteed. by the constitution and the law.
He emphasized the state’s interest in developing the educational record in various stages and providing advanced educational services to all citizens alike.

Extension of the conciliation period for some building violations
The Media Center of the Council of Ministers confirmed that what is reported on some websites and social media pages about the government’s intention to extend the reconciliation period in some building violations for a new period is unfounded.
The Cabinet stated that it is not correct to extend the conciliation period in some construction infractions for a new period, explaining that the term granted by law to conciliation violators will end on September 30 and no new conciliation request will be accepted. after the expiration of this period.
The Cabinet stressed that reconciliation will not be accepted in any new violation, with the aim of stopping the phenomenon of random construction and preserving agricultural lands.
