Abdel Wahab as President of the Senate and Abu Flat as Agent

The sources revealed that it was agreed between the parliamentary blocs in the Senate to elect Chancellor Abdel Wahab Abdel Razzaq as president of the Senate, and to elect Chancellor Bahaa Abu Shaqa as first deputy and Vibe Fawzi as second deputy.

Sources indicated to Al-Masry Al-Youm that Abdel-Razek is a strong candidate, as he is a great legal and constitutional value, as well as heading Egypt’s largest party now.

The sources added that the Senate will form a committee to make a list for the House, provided the House list is implemented, until the new list is approved.

It is noteworthy that Councilor Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razek won the Senate elections on the Upper Egypt list in the elections held last month, and the biography of the head of the Future of the Nation Party indicates that he was born in August 1948, He obtained a law degree in 1969 and was appointed a member of the Central Audit Organization in June 1970. And a deputy prosecutor in 1971, and in November 1976 he was appointed deputy attorney general, and in August 1978 he was appointed deputy on the Council of State, and in November 1980 he was appointed deputy director of category (B), and in June 1984 he was appointed deputy director of category (A), and in September 1987 he was appointed Advisor to the Council of State, and in September of 1988 he was appointed advisor to the Authority of Commissioners of the Supreme Constitutional Court, and in January 1994 he was appointed President of the Authority of Commissioners of the Supreme Constitutional Court, and in March 2001 he was appointed Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, and in July 2016 he was appointed President of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
