Sayed Abdel Hafeez, football director of the Al-Ahly club, spoke about the injury of Ayman Ashraf and Marwan Mohsen, the pair of the first team, with the red genius during Enppi’s match in general league competitions.

Abdel Hafeez told Al-Ahly channel that the coaching staff is currently replacing any player in mild pain, in order to avoid further injury before facing Moroccan Wydad.

Abdel Hafeez said: “Any player currently feels whatever we substitute directly, and Ayman Ashraf told us that he feels slight pain in his calves, so we replaced him quickly, especially as we suffer from a numerical shortage in that position.”

The Al-Ahly football director added: “Marwan Mohsen felt exhausted and we also replaced him quickly. We want to travel to Morocco and we are full and we do not suffer any further injuries.”

The Al-Ahly club beat Enppi by three unanswered goals, in the match that took place at the Al-Ahly stadium, Wei Salam, within the framework of the 32nd matchday of the Premier League.

On October 17 and 23, Al-Ahly will face the Moroccan team, Wydad, in the semi-final round trip of the African Champions League, while the final match will be played on November 6.
