The Mansheya Prosecutor’s Office in Alexandria, under the supervision of Counselor Mahmoud Al-Ghaish, Prosecutor General of the Prosecutor’s Office of Eastern Alexandria, has launched an investigation into the fall of a woman from the 14th floor of the court complex.
Investigations revealed that the woman left a will in her purse, including distributing her property to orphans and repairing the roofs of houses for the neediest families in the villages.
Investigations revealed that the deceased suffered from mental illness, and had been treated for 7 months, while it was suspected that she had committed suicide by jumping from the fourteenth floor of the Court Complex.
Major General Sami Ghoneim, Alexandria’s Deputy Minister and Security Director, had received a notification from the Mansheya Police Department that a woman had fallen from the 14th floor of the Corniche Road court complex and died.
The commissioner and department officials moved in and the examination revealed that “Manal M. SAM”, a 51-year-old engineer, resides in the Rushdi area of Sidi Jaber.
A report on the incident was issued to the Mansheya Police Department. The prosecution ordered an autopsy, the emptying of surveillance cameras and an interrogation of the judicial guards.
