Mortada Mansour, president of the Egyptian club Zamalek, asked the stations of the club’s channel not to attack the Al-Ahly club through its programs.
Mortada Mansour said during a telephone interview on Zamalek TV: “I ask all the stations of the Zamalek channel not to attack the Al-Ahly club in any way, except in the case of responding to the accusations made by the other party.”
The president of Zamalek added: “The Al-Ahly club is a big club, with millions of fans. There is no disagreement with one of the biggest clubs and the owner of the championships, principles and values, but the difference is with some people. on the club’s board of directors, not with everyone. “
And Mansour continued: “I hope that everyone abides by this decision, in my capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the channel, and I hope that the other party will commit not to harm us.”

The decision was surprising in light of the altercations and exchanges of attacks between officials of the two famous Egyptian clubs, and the series of accusations of receiving gifts and hours from Turki Al-Sheikh, the head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, in addition to a series of criticisms for the departure of star players, such as Abdullah Al-Saeed, Ahmed Fathi, Hussam Ashour and Ramadan Subhi.
Mortada Mansour confirmed that Zamalek’s new coach is a world-class coach, and expressed her agreement, but will meet with the assistants before making her final decision.
The French Patrice Carteron, current technical director of the Saudi Cooperation Club, left several days ago to train Zamalek after paying the penalty clause in his contract.
