A source close to Congolese striker Ben Malango, the Moroccan player for Raja Casablanca, revealed that Al-Ahly showed interest in obtaining his services in the upcoming summer transfer season and in return Al-Ahly denied it entirely. .
A source who did not want to be identified said in his remarks to “Yalla Koura” on Wednesday that Al-Ahly showed interest in Ben Malango to strengthen the team’s ranks next summer.
Moroccan media claimed that the 26-year-old, who joined Raja in the summer of 2019, became Al-Ahly’s circle of interests to support the team in the upcoming season.
And the same source added: “There is a contact made by Al-Ahly with an Egyptian-French person responsible for the marketing of the player, but the matter is still in the early stages of negotiations.”
He added that “Ben Malango has other offers from clubs that want to sign him during the current summer transfer season.”
But on the other hand, a source within the Al-Ahly club, speaking to “Yallakora”, denied the matter completely, saying: “This matter is completely false, confirming not to enter into negotiations with the player.”
Ben Malango played 22 matches with Raja in various tournaments, and managed to score 7 goals and scored 3.
