Rainwater that fell on Alexandria over the past two days led to the discovery of a skeleton buried in a pile of sand on top of the roof of a property in the Burj Al-Arab area, as it turned out to be a boy whose neighbor killed him 4 years ago after he failed to rape him.

The beginning came when the Burj Al-Arab department received a notification from “Muhammad A.”, 79, a worker residing in “Al-Shawwar” Nagaa, and who had another residence in Itay Al-Baroud in the Al-Buhaira governorate, that he found a corpse consisting of a “complete skeleton”.
And the worker decided that he had rented a house in Nag al-Shawahir a year and two months ago, and while he was climbing on the roof of the house, to remove accumulations of rainwater, he found bones and a skull under some sand.
Lieutenant-Colonel Ahmed Hamadeh, Burj Al-Arab’s head of investigation, accompanied by Major Ahmed Al-Shanhabi and Major Saeed Shaalan, assistant to the department’s investigations department, posted on Al-Balagh’s website.
The examination revealed the existence of a completely decomposed body, a “skeleton” buried in a pile of sand from the remains of construction work on the roof of a one-story house in Naga Al-Shawwar.

By tracking absenteeism reports in the past period, it became clear that there was a report written on June 26, 2016, for the boy “Rabei S.”, known as “Adel”, 12 years old, who has special needs, is dumb and has polio.
When summoning the father of the minor, he decided in front of the investigating agents that the skeleton that had been found was that of his absent son, after recognizing the pants he was wearing at the time before disappearing from the house.

And the search team’s efforts resulted in the identification of the defendants by checking the names of the tenants of the house in place of the incident for the past four years, named “Muhammad M. T” 20 years, worker.
The interrogation revealed that the defendant was renting the house with his family at the time of the accident 4 years ago, and they were expelled from the house after accusing their son of indecent assault and trying to rape another girl, and the court ruled to imprison him for only two months, due to lack of evidence.
According to the investigations, the aforementioned house remained empty of neighbors for more than two years until the sum he rented it for a year and two months ago, and discovered the presence of the victim’s body while removing the rainwater.
The defendant was arrested and confessed to having committed the incident four years ago, after not raping him and for fear of being discovered; Be referred to the Public Ministry for investigation.
Shocking confessions
In front of the Counselor Imam Asheiba, Prosecutor of the Burj Al Arab, the accused made shocking confessions, indicating that on the afternoon of one of the days of the blessed month of Ramadan at that time, June 26, 2016, he saw the victim in front of his home in Nagaa Al-Shawwar.
The defendant continued: “I took advantage of his mental disability, polio and mute, and lured him to the roof of the house, where we raised poultry for the purpose of practicing homosexuality with him, after accusing him of going to buy him sweets.”
The defendant added: “I stripped him of the shirt he was wearing and when I tried to take off his pants, he started screaming loudly … I was scared of the scandal and killed him.”
The accused worker explained that he suffocated the victim with his arm, hit him with a stick on the head and filled his mouth with a large amount of earth until he expired for the last time.
The defendant indicated that he disposed of the body by burying it in a pile of sand on the roof – where it was found – and hid the T-shirt that the victim was wearing with a concrete post near the body.
The Burj Al Arab Prosecutor’s Office ordered the arrest of the accused for 4 days pending investigation, provided that his renewal on the legal date is taken into account.
