Councilor Sherif Moataz, second and third chief of the Ismailia Public Prosecutor’s Office, under the supervision of Councilor Yasser Zaitoun, the first public prosecutor of the Ismailia Total Prosecutor’s Office, decided to arrest 4 people accused of raping a woman in front of her husband , at gunpoint, inside cemeteries.
The details of the incident began when the victim, accompanied by her husband, went to look for a missing tricycle vehicle, where the husband was working on it in the “cardboard” collection and sale field.
The search for the husband and the victim led them to look for a “tricycle” in the cemeteries of Ismailia, but they were surprised by 4 people who saw knives in front of them and began to attack them.
3 of the defendants in the incident were legally accused of immobilizing the husband and beating him, while the fourth defendant was released for raping the victim at gunpoint and leaving the victim after the crime was completed.
The victim escorted his wife and went to the second police station in Ismailia. To draft a report on the incident, Major General Ihab Mustafa, head of the department, reported the incident to Major General Yasser Nashat, Deputy Minister of the Interior, Ismailia Security Director and Major General Rashad Al-Ghamrawi, Director research.
An investigation team has been formed; To discover the circumstances of the incident, under the supervision of General Rashad Al-Ghamrawi, Director of the Ismailia Investigation Department and headed by Brigadier General Khaled Habib, head of the Ismailia Investigation Department, Brigadier General Hisham Al-Sharif, the Ismailia Investigations inspector, Colonel Ahmed Al-Saghir, Head of the Department of Drug Investigations in the Directorate, and Lieutenant Colonel Marwan El-Tahawy, Chief of Investigations in the Second Department of Ismailia, and their captains, Sharif Lotfi, Mustafa Al-Hadi and Mahmoud Abdel Fattah, assistants to the investigations.
The investigation team discovered that 4 defendants were behind the commission of the incident: AG, 28 years old, registered as dangerous, and AI, 17 years old, KA, 16 years old and AM, 16 years old. The forces capture them.
The defendants confessed to having committed the incident in front of the security forces, who managed to seize the bladed weapons used in the incident after instructing the defendants in this regard.
From there, the necessary report was prepared, and when referring to the Public Ministry, decided to detain the accused for 4 days pending investigation, and assign the forensic doctor to sign a medical examination of the victim and indicate the injuries that suffered.
