The Endowments Ministry confirmed that it will not open event houses or allow social events to be held in mosques, taking into account the current circumstances facing Corona.
The Endowment Ministry warned all imams and preachers to fully adhere to the prescribed sermon and its motto: “Prevention is better than cure”, and seriously contribute to the clear awareness of the importance of adhering to precautionary and preventive measures against the Crown, the most important being the adherence to the muzzle and distance distances, generally inside or outside the places of worship, and to stay away from Overcrowding, the obligation to carry the prayer in person when arriving at the mosque, and that adherence to these procedures is a legitimate, national and humanitarian requirement.
The Endowments Ministry called on the need for everyone to adhere to this to protect ourselves, our family and our society, and to abide by the instructions of our religion to avoid harm to ourselves and others.
The Ministry stated that no event house will be opened, and condolences, marriages or other contracts will not be allowed to be celebrated in the mosques or their annexes, and to strengthen the follow-up on this, and take the maximum punishment in violation, and limit the work in the mosques to only prayers, and the Friday sermon in ten minutes, and not to allow any other activity in mosques or their annexes to further the spread of the Corona virus.
