On Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 321 recoveries from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who 151,765 cases have been recovered from the virus to date.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Undersecretary of Health and Population for Information and Awareness, and official spokesman for the ministry, said that 661 new cases were registered that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of surveillance and investigation procedures. necessary. and tests carried out by the ministry in accordance with World Health Organization guidelines, which point to the death of 48 new cases.

Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 198011, including 151,765 cured cases and 11,768 deaths.
