A new increase in Corona injuries .. “Salud” announces the daily statement

The Ministry of Health and Population announced, this Wednesday, that 500 people recovered from the coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, with which the total of those who recover from the virus to 154,694 cases to date.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Undersecretary of Health and Population for Information and Awareness, and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 699 new cases were registered that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and Examination procedures carried out by the ministry in accordance with World Health Organization guidelines, which point to the death of 39 new cases.

Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Wednesday is 202,131, including 154,694 cured cases and 11,995 deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows first-hand the situation regarding the “emerging corona” virus and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry also has assigned a series of media outlets to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases. These include the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the application “Egypt Health” available on phones.
