Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 51 coronavirus recoveries have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who 97,449 cases have recovered from the virus to date.
Dr Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 121 new cases were registered that tested positive for virus laboratory tests, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures, investigation and examination carried out by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 11 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid stated that the total number that has been registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Tuesday is 103,902 cases, including 97,449 cured cases and 6,01 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows first-hand the situation regarding the “emerging corona” virus and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry also has assigned a number of media outlets to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases. , Including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the application “Egypt Health” available on phones.
