On Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 409 people in recovery from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, with which the total of those who recover from the virus. to 136,490 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 656 new cases were registered that were positive in laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and procedures. examination carried out by the ministry according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which point to the death of 51 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid claimed that the total number that was recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 176,333 cases, including 136,490 cases that have been cured and 10,201 deaths.
