Dr. Nabila Aziz, director of the Alexandria Zoo, revealed on Friday that a worker at the Alexandria Zoo was injured after a lion attacked him.
Aziz said, speaking to Sada Al-Balad, that one of the workers was slightly injured while he was with Assad, but collided with a marble wall, causing his injury in a broken shoulder.

He added that the necessary measures were taken with the worker immediately, and he was taken to the hospital in good health.
On August 24 of last year, the Alexandria Zoo resumed its activities after its closure on March 17, by a decision of the Prime Minister to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus, amid a commitment by the pioneers to all safety measures.
Dr. Nabila Aziz confirmed that the Central Administration of the Zoo has provided 3 heat detectors at the entrance door, in addition to suspending the spacing instructions and precautionary measures, and any visitor who does not wear a muzzle has been prevented from entering.
He confirmed that the park was sterilized before welcoming the pioneers, and will be disinfected daily before entering the public, to prevent the spread of the Corona virus and preserve the life of the pioneers.
