A great scientific advance on the most dangerous types of cancer

Scientists have found what they consider a new cancer violation, which continues to threaten the health of many around the world, while countries suffer from the high cost of treatment.

Amid these efforts, new research has revealed that the presence of mineral ions in the urine is an accurate indicator of pancreatic duct cancer (PDAC), one of the most common cancers of pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most dangerous and deadly cancers in humans. Its mortality rate is 85 percent.

The study, published in the scientific journal Metallomics, was based on the fact that cancer leads to changes in biochemical reactions within the body.

The team of researchers found that PDAC patients had significantly lower levels of calcium and magnesium in the urine, and higher levels of copper and zinc (as well as zinc isotopes), compared to healthy subjects.

The authors of the Oxford University study and other research groups plan to expand their research into more urine samples before transferring them to actual clinical trials, if the results are still promising.

“We are very excited about our results and look forward to continuing this work and verifying the results,” said study author Tatjana Yrusevich of Queen Mary University of London.

There are currently no tests available for the early detection of PDAC cancer, and it is often diagnosed late, because its symptoms are not specific.

Therefore, the new discovery represents a scientific advance, in addition to early detection, it helps in the detection of this type of cancer, through a non-invasive non-surgical test.

Several research groups participated in the study, including the Barts Cancer Center, the Lamont Laboratory, and Russia’s Sechenov University.
