A short 23 second video showing a girl in her 20s jumping from inside a “tuk-tuk” in the Al-Ayyat area, after the driver of the vehicle harassed her. He was responsible for the movement of the security services to arrest the accused and refer him to the prosecution, which is investigating him.
Eyewitnesses told Al-Masry Al-Youm that surveillance cameras at one of the shops on Abu Hashima Street in the Al-Ayyat Center monitored the details of the incident, as the girl jumped during the tuk-tuk walk very quickly and families approached the girl, who was seriously injured and bruised.
The witnesses added – that the relatives took the victim to the general hospital, to receive the necessary treatment, and before that the girl told them that the driver verbally harassed her and refused to stop with a ‘tuk-tuk’, since A fight broke out between them, after the defendant told the girl: ‘I want your phone number.’
Sadness prevailed among the people of the region, after the girl’s injury required “installing splinters and nails with her hands and one of her feet.”
During the preliminary inquiries, the defendants obtained the complaints and the prosecution requested investigations by the security services to learn the circumstances of the incident.
