A German team suffers a resounding defeat with 37 goals … for fear of Corona!

The German amateur soccer team, SG Ribdorf Moltsen, suffered a resounding defeat to SV Holdenstedt, in the national third division, in Olsen, Lower Saxony.

The amateur team “SG Ribdorf Moltsen” received 37 unanswered goals, due to their players’ fear of getting Corona, after it was found that the opponent’s players had contact with a Corona patient.

Ribdorff Moltsen’s players avoided intercepting the opponent’s attacks, or approaching their players, in protest for not postponing the match, although the opponents’ examination results were negative, but they did not pass for 14 days, so Ribdorff Moltsen preferred take precaution and adhere to social distancing during the confrontation.

In this context, Patrick Ritsov, president of Rybdorf Moltsen, explained to the broadcaster “NDR” that the opponent was in contact with a person infected with the Coronavirus.

The channel quoted Ribdorf officials as saying that the visiting team’s management, Holdenstedt, had rejected a request to postpone the match for health reasons.

Ribdorf’s players protested, only running into the field with distance to avoid the no-show penalty.
