President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected, on Sunday, the headquarters of the Strategic Command Center in the New Administrative Capital, recently created with the latest international specifications in line with the vision of the future of Egypt, where he was accompanied during the visit of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Mohamed Farid, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and several commanders of the Armed Forces.
The Spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the President heard a detailed explanation of the components of the new strategic state command center, the latest advances in the engineering works and the infrastructure works that were carried out in it, as well as what was designed and built with the latest information and communication technology systems, security monitoring methods and intelligent systems in the command and control field. , Which reinforces the capacity of the State to efficiently manage its institutions in various circumstances, as well as the specialized and administrative units and facilities included in the new headquarters.
During the tour, the President praised the effort made to complete and equip the buildings and facilities of the Strategic Command Center in accordance with the expected deadline, highlighting the State’s desire to develop its capabilities in various fields and keep pace with scientific progress and technical in order to maintain the security of the homeland and its territorial integrity.
The State Strategic Command Center includes a series of centers that guarantee control and fluidity in the management of all state institutions and prepare to face any crisis or emergency, and the headquarters extends over an area of 22 thousand acres and includes 13 regions that are differentiated according to the nature of each one of them, and contains a coordination center of the work of the state defense and a data center. The unified strategic network of the state, which contains all the data of the state institutions, a control center of the closed strategic network to control the administrative apparatus of the state, in addition to a management and operation center to control the state facilities, and a control center of the communications network that ensures the continuous realization of communications at the state level, as well as the centers. Control of emergency services and field security, and a meteorological forecast center, which is the country’s defense center with meteorological data, to be prepared to face sudden climatic changes, in addition to a huge volume of warehouses that ensure the needs of strategic assets of the country.
The facilities of the State Strategic Command Center vary to include various places of worship, clubs, hotels, schools, sports stadiums, residential projects and shopping centers, in addition to a number of hospitals and administrative and service complexes, and the Command Center del Estado provides two units of the Republican Guard and other means of insurance that provide protection, prevention and insurance for the center.
The new strategic leadership center represents a new edifice that embodies Egypt’s future vision as a promising regional power and a pioneer country that has been and will continue to be able to conquer challenges and achieve the aspirations of the unity of its proud people and strong army.
