Carlos Amadeo, the youth coach of the Saudi club Al-Hilal, passed away suddenly today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, while at his residence there.

Carlos Amadeo was born in the Brazilian city of Salvador Bahía on September 6, 1965, to leave our world today at the age of 55.

Amadeo began his football career at the Bahia youth team, then rose to the club’s first team in 1985, and won the Campionato Baiano championship with him, before signing for Galicia.

He retired from soccer in early 1989 due to repeated injuries and later headed into a coaching career.

Amadeo previously led the Brazil Under-17 national team to third place in the Youth World Cup in the 2017 edition.

Carlos Amadeo signed a contract with Al Hilal to lead the youth team earlier this year, where he played with the team many training sessions and friendly and official matches.
