Yesterday Friday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 109 people recovering from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who 103,191 cases have been recovered from the virus to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the Ministry, stated that 427 new cases were registered that were positive in laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures, investigation and an examination that the ministry carries out in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 19 new cases.
Mujahid said: According to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” affirmed that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today Friday is 117,583 cases, including 103,191 cases that have been cured and 6,732 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, closely monitoring the situation of the “emerging corona” virus and taking all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease.
