Clark and Douglas said during the conference that they believe 85% of the world’s airlines face bankruptcy risk, and that without government support they can declare bankruptcy before the end of the year, according to the Business Council.
The two companies also warned that the recovery in demand for passenger travel to pre-crisis levels could take until 2023.
