A statement clarified that the number of cases whose laboratory results have been transformed from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 1,780 cases, including 1,381 recovered.
He added that 269 new, positive laboratory tests of the virus, including 3 foreigners, were registered as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which point to death. of 12 new cases.
He said that all registered HIV positive cases in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to guidelines from the World Health Organization.
He stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 5,537 cases, including 1,381 cases that have been cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 392 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all provinces, follows the situation first hand with respect to the “emerging crown” virus and takes all necessary precautions against any virus or infectious disease, as the “105” hotline and “15335” have been assigned to receive citizen inquiries about an emerging and infectious disease Corona virus.
