The Foreign Ministry attacked the Israeli occupation state, the series “The End”, starring Youssef Al Sharif, and described its events as “regrettable and totally unacceptable”, according to the Hebrew newspaper “Jerusalem Post”.

The first episode of the Egyptian series, which was very popular with Arab viewers, showed a scene of children in a semester in the year 2120 learning about the “Jerusalem Liberation War”.

“The United States was the main defender of the Zionist state,” said one teacher, while a three-dimensional map of the United States appeared in front of the classroom.

“When the time came for the Arab countries to free themselves from their arch enemy, a war broke out that was called the Jerusalem Liberation War,” Al-Muallem added in the series.

The teacher added that “the war ended quickly and caused the destruction of the Zionist State of Israel less than 100 years after its establishment.”

According to the professor, “most of the settlers fled the occupying Power and returned to their countries of origin in Europe.”

The occupation ministry condemned the content of the series, describing it as “unfortunate and totally unacceptable, especially among countries that have concluded a peace agreement between them in the last 41 years.”

It is mentioned that the series “The End” is the idea of ​​Youssef El Sharif, a script and dialogue by Amr Samir Atef, directed by Yasser Samy and produced by Synergy Company, and co-starring Amr Abdel Galil, Ahmed Wafik, Nahed El Sebaei and Mahmoud El Leithy.
