Several relatives of the Moataz Matar radio station filed a complaint with the Administrative Court, requesting that the Ministry of the Interior be obliged to revoke Egyptian nationality on their behalf.

The lawsuit, which led to 39,285 for the year 74 court cases, against the Minister of the Interior and the head of the Passport, Immigration and Nationality Authority in his capacity, declared that the plaintiffs are the wives and brothers of Moataz Matar, who took a hostile road to the state of Egypt by carrying out many acts that violated the state system and joined a foreign country and began streaming many videos that damage Egypt’s reputation.

The lawsuit filed by Reem Al-Abd and her husband Muhannad Matar, and the gift of God Muhammad and her husband Moatasim Matar, added that Article 16 of the Egyptian Nationality Law allows a reasoned decision by the Council of Ministers to revoke Egyptian nationality of the person if he worked for the benefit of a foreign state or government and in a state of war with Egypt, OR diplomatic relations with it were severed, and that would harm Egypt’s military, diplomatic or economic state, or harm any other national interest .

The lawsuit clarified that, according to the previous text, the acts attributed to him by “Matar” are considered actions that harm the state of Egypt, and Egyptian nationality can be revoked from him,
