Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the ministry, said that the number of cases whose laboratory results turned from positive to negative for the Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 1,417 cases, including the 1,075 recovered.
He added that 201 new cases that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, all Egyptians, were registered as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which point to death. of 7 cases.
Mujahid said that all registered HIV positive cases in isolation hospitals are subject to medical care, according to guidelines from the World Health Organization.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Friday, is 4,092 cases, including 1,075 cases that were cured and released from isolation hospitals, and 294 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all provinces, follows the situation first hand with respect to the “emerging crown” virus and takes all necessary precautions against any virus or infectious disease, as the “105” hotlines and “15335” have been assigned to receive citizen inquiries about an emerging and infectious disease Corona virus.
