The scientists analyzed semen samples from 34 men in China who were diagnosed with mild symptoms of COVID-19 one month before donating samples for the study. Therefore, their tests were negative at the time of the study.
The scientists found no evidence of the presence of the virus in the semen, which means that the disease will not be sexually transmitted after recovery.
But scientists have said they cannot rule out the possibility that the virus is in semen during the infectious period.

This theory depends on how the virus enters cells, through a receptor called ACE2, which is found in cells throughout the body.
