Resolution of the Minister of Health on 919 cases infected with “Corona”

Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, reviewed the current situation of the “new corona virus” in Egypt, with respect to the total number of infected people, new infections, the number of recovery cases, cases whose result has gone from positive to negative, the number of new deaths, as well as the total number of deaths so far.

The Minister indicated, during today’s cabinet meeting through videoconferencing technology, that the infection rate in Egypt has become 36 per million cases, according to the latest statistics in this regard, which is a small number in comparison with the global infection rate of 335.5 per million cases.

The Minister spoke about the total number of cases transferred from isolation hospitals to various university cities and youth hostels, in 919 cases.

In this regard, the minister added that 158 ​​cases were transferred to the youth city of Abukir, 91 cases to the civil training center in Damietta, 114 cases to the university city of Mansoura, 200 cases to a tourist establishment, 50 cases to the youth hostel of Luxor, 48 cases to Aswan youth hostel AND 75 cases to Helwan University City, 43 cases to Assiut University City, 51 cases to Sebbaby Tanta University City, 20 cases to Minya University City, 35 cases to the university city of Ras El-Bar, as well as the transfer of 36 cases to the university city of Beni Suef.

The Minister noted that the cases of abandonment of youth cities amounted to 326 cases, with 60 departures from the youth city of Abukir, 43 cases from the civil training center in Damietta, 57 from the university city of Mansoura, 91 cases from an establishment tourism, 12 cases from the Luxor youth hostel and 21 cases of The young man arrived in Aswan, 6 cases from the university city of Helwan, 13 cases from the university city of Assiut, 4 cases from the university city of Sebbay Tanta, 6 cases of the university city of Minya, 12 cases from the university city of Beni Suef and one case from the university city of Ras El-Bar.

The Minister mentioned that some recent studies revealed that the most common causes of death by the “Corona virus” are related to infections previously with a series of chronic diseases, namely: cardiovascular diseases in 13.2%, diabetes in 9, 2%, high blood pressure in 8.4% and diseases Chronic respiratory rate in 8%, and finally cancerous tumors in 7.6%.

The Minister also revised the plan to rehabilitate fever and chest hospitals, with 79 hospitals, noting that the health service will be available as classification and isolation in hospitals with multiple buildings to allow the existence of a special route for patients of ” Corona “and the medical staff residing with them are different from the suspect’s building and route, Adding” Monitor “and artificial respiration devices to all beds as needed, while providing accommodation for doctors outside of Hospitals, and laboratories available in the provinces of the Ministry of Health will be used to inspect and classify, in addition to the efficiency of laboratories and X-rays will increase in accordance with the requirements of isolation hospitals and a protocol to treat.
