Dr Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, reviewed a report by Major General Mahmoud Sharawi, Minister of Local Development, on the final position for reconciliation on construction violations, in light of the expiration of the deadline for citizens to legalize their status before the end of March 2021.
During the report, Shaarawi explained that the volume of reconciliation requests submitted by citizens who want to legalize their status during the scheduled period that began on July 14, 2020 until March 30, 2021, reached around 2.9 million requests. .
Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi also noted that the state-set deadline for reconciliation on construction violations witnessed the desire of large numbers of citizens to legalize their status, especially in the Greater Cairo and Alexandria governorates, as well as a series of requests. presented to the agencies of the new cities, noting the enthusiasm of those who presented these requests regarding the payment of the severity of the seizure sums and the examination fees necessary to evaluate the cases of violations and arrive at the necessary value for conciliation, noting that the number of applications submitted by the governorates amounted to around 2.8 million applications, while the agencies of the new cities received around 70.9 thousand applications.
