This morning, the Egyptian actress Mona Badr, who participated in the nightingale Asmar Abdel Halim Hafez, star of her film “My Dreams”, passed away at the age of 85.

Badr retired early from artistic life after appearing in only 3 films, and Nightingale sang her famous song “Losing Your Separation, My Neighbor” and she traveled to the United States on immigration that lasted about 30 years.

Musician Yahya Khalil announced the news of Mona Badr’s death on his Facebook page, saying: “This morning, my friend, a star of the beautiful era (Mary Najjar), who was known in Egyptian cinema as (Mona Badr ), and starred in the movie (Boy My Dreams) opposite Nightingale Abdel Halim Hafez, and she settled in the United States in Chicago about 30 years ago.

Khalil posted a photo he collected with the late artist and another of her with Abdel Halim Hafez in the movie “My Dreams Boy.”

Mona Badr appeared in the Lebanese film “We are all Fedayeen”, which was screened in 1969, and her story dealt with the Palestinian struggle against the Israeli occupation, and in the 1980s, as her appearance in her third film through the cinema Syrian, through a role he played in the film “Taxi Driver” by Syrian director Muhammad Shaheen.
