Zamalek club star Ashraf Bencharki, Al-Ahly defender Badr Bannon missed the Moroccan national team due to international suspension this March.

Vahid Halilodzic, coach of the Moroccan team, announced his squad for the matches between Mauritania and Burundi in the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, which did not include the name of the pair.

On Wednesday, the Al-Ahly club announced on its official website that the Moroccan defender would fly to his country to join the Atlas Lions, but his name was not on the list announced by Halilodzic on Thursday.

The Moroccan list included Mounir El Haddadi, a Sevilla player, who previously played for the Spanish national teams.

As well as Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea, along with Ashraf Hakimi from Inter Milan and Ayoub Al Kaabi, the Raja striker.

Sufyan Rahimi was also from Raja, and Youssef Al-Nusiri, the Sevilla striker.
