Singer Amr Diab surprised his fans by announcing that he had been infected with the Corona virus, but the matter was reassuring at the same time in another way.
On Wednesday, the channel “Echo Country” published a video clip of the last concerts of the great star with the Greek singer “Irina”, in which Diab appears announcing that he had been infected with the new Corona virus some time ago and that he has recovered of that.
Diab appears in the video clip, saying, “I previously prepared a song with Irina during the Corona days, and it’s a song, Oh Ahi.”
He continued: “At that time I was in Egypt and she was in Greece, and the song was supposed to be filmed, but at that time I was infected with Corona.”

Numerous reports had speculated that Diab was infected with the Corona virus, from his ex-wife Dina El-Sherbiny, who was infected with one of his colleagues who participated in his series last year, “The forgetting game”, in which the late artist Raja Al-Jeddawi participated and died as a result of this infection.
Dina did not announce at the time that Diab was injured, saying only that she applied self-isolation, fearing for her family and friends any injuries that might befall them.
Diab posted, on his official Facebook page, on Wednesday, images of a concert that took place on Tuesday in Cairo for a campaign by a telecommunications company in Egypt, in which several new young voices participated singing with their favorite singer. Diab, and a crowd of young participants appeared in the photos. And the masses, in the presence of various artists and poets, including the poet Bahaa El-Din Mohamed, the DJ, a member of Wama’s team, Nader Hamdy, and others, all of whom did not use the “receiver.”
