From time immemorial to the present day, customs and traditions lead many people to commit the most heinous crimes against their daughters, so that the blood of the apple of their eye is coldly spilled in what is considered a victory of honor.
A painful video clip documents a terrifying moment in which an Indian father quietly walks the streets of Banditara Village in Uttar Pradesh, holding the head of his teenage daughter after being amputated in what is known as “honor killings.”
“Sarvesh Kumar” appeared in the video as he wandered barefoot through a village in northern India in gruesome video clips and confessed to beheading his 17-year-old daughter, Neelam, due to a love affair between her and an unknown young man.
The father was on his way to the police station after his daughter was beheaded as part of an honor killing when villagers encountered him in a panic.
A small crowd soon formed around her as the police were informed of the horrible scene, and she proceeded nonchalantly threatening to kill her lover too if she could find him, and it seemed she never regretted her heinous crime.
He spoke to one of them casually, and even responded to a phone call, in which he said that the body of his eldest daughter had returned to the family home.
The police arrested Kumar’s wife and a police officer was suspended from duty after a photo emerged of him holding the girl’s head “inappropriately”.
In fact, the police found his daughter’s body in the family home and sent her for an autopsy, while the father confessed to his crime.
