Al-Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane announced the team’s roster to face the Congolese Vita Club in the third round of the African Champions League group stage on Saturday.
The list testifies to the exclusion of Mahmoud “Kahraba”, who is deprived of being with the first team for a month, by decision of the coaching staff as a punitive measure, in addition to the continued absence of Ali Maaloul and Nasser Maher due to injury, along with Rami Rabia, Akram Tawfiq, and Salah Mohsen.
Hussein Al Shahat is listed for the first time in the Champions League this season, after missing the first two rounds of the group stage due to a suspension.
The team will enter a closed camp in preparation for the match that will be played tomorrow, Saturday at 9:00 p.m.
The team’s roster included:
Goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shennawy, Ali Lotfi and Mustafa Schubert.
Defense line: Mohamed Hani, Ahmed Ramadan “Beckham”, Yasser Ibrahim, Badr Bannon, Ayman Ashraf and Mahmoud Waheed.
