(Masrawy):
Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, published a brochure entitled “An Important Clarification” through his official account on the “Facebook” website.
The minister said: “The electronic exams for the first and second grade of secondary school are not a ‘rehearsal” for the electronic examinations of secondary school.
لماذا؟
1) Because the technical solutions, the data transfer and storage method and the quality of the networks are different in memory between the two.
2) Secondary committees are secured in cooperation with the Interior Ministry, multiple security institutions and completely different technical solutions, we will only use them in secondary school and we cannot disclose them for obvious reasons.
3) Design technical solutions in high school that include 3 levels of security to ensure that the exam reaches all students in Egypt.
4) Insurance for high school exams (for about 650,000 students) costs around 1 billion Egyptian pounds.
5) It is not possible for state transfer year exams to incur such large sums of money for closed insurance operations.
Regarding the experimental secondary exams:
1) This is the royal rehearsal that will take place in April and June, God willing.
2) The aim of the pilot exams is to test the technical solutions mentioned above + train the students in the form of exams.
3) Mock exams similar to real exams will not be available, in order to rationalize expenses.
What about cheating on the first and second secondary exams?
1) These are exams for the first semester transfer years (pass and fail only) without full or grade proficiency.
2) Before the tablet system, these exams were done at the school level, just like every transportation year.
3) The real objective of these exams is to provide further training to students on the system of new questions and learnings for a real understanding, as well as to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each student’s achievement through the detailed result that will be sent. to the.
4) These are not “competitive qualification exams”, but “learning aid” exams.
5) There is no place here to talk about equal opportunities or loss of the mujtahid’s right because it is not competitive and it is not total.
6) Whoever cheats and cheats on these exams is the only loser because they chose to deprive themselves of the opportunity to learn and train and will suffer later by taking the high school exams that are fully insured against all kinds of cheating.
7) The vast majority of self-reliant students are the winners in every respect because they have reached the goal and are aiming to acquire the skill that prepares them for the new high school.
8) Deception is an unfortunate social scourge, and its actual treatment requires what is more important and sustainable than surveillance cameras and heavily armed soldiers. You need a deep social conscience, you need the help of parents and the guidance of your children, and you need media awareness and moral awakening.
9) It is clear that cheating in these exams is the choice of those who do not want to learn and will suffer later. Equal opportunities, without detours, without fraud of all kinds, and electronic correction without human intervention to guarantee absolute transparency. .
