The Board of Directors of Al-Nahar Channels issued a statement, some time ago, in which it reiterated its total refusal to harm the peoples of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt, which came on the end-of-day program with the journalist Tamer. Amin, in an unintentional mistake.
The board of directors added that it does not tolerate any mistakes, it usually happens on Al-Nahar TV, and the council made several decisions against the journalist Tamer Amin, even though he assured his good faith and his full recognition of our people in El Alto Egypt and its countryside, and between these decisions, deduct a month from his salary to the presenter of the program, and the amount deposited in a charity, and refers to an internal investigation of the channel.
In its statement, the city council said that it was decided to suspend the work of the medium, Tamer Amin, until a decision is issued by the Supreme Media Council, which announced today the investigation of the incident next Sunday.
In its statement, the Council stated that it has full appreciation and respect for Upper Egypt with its men, symbols and women, and will not allow any insult or offense, even if the matter is spontaneous.
Journalist Tamer Amin came out this morning, following the decision, in a video, in which he apologizes to those who have been harassed with insulting words. Al-Nahar TV also offered an apology to its viewers, promising to open an investigation into the incident.
This is not the first time that the medium, Tamer Amin, has raised the controversy with his comments, as he has already been the object of a strong attack by some artists, as a result of his attack against them.
