Mostafa Mohamed celebrates his first goal for Galata Saray at Fenerbahçe
Abdul Rahim Al-Bayrak, Vice President of Turkish Galatasaray, revealed the club’s position on the final purchase of Mustafa Mohamed al Zamalek’s contract.
Zamalek had announced the transfer of Mustafa Mohamed to Galatasaray on loan for a season and a half for 2 million dollars, with the possibility of purchase until December 31 for 4 million dollars.
Al-Bayrak told the Turkish newspaper “Milliyet”: “No one should worry about Mustafa Muhammad. Galatasaray will finally get his services if he pays $ 4 million until July 1, 2022.”
“We can present this money today or tomorrow and put an end to all the questions. However, there is no situation that causes confusion,” he added.
“The loan cost two million dollars, and the club operates within the framework of the fair financial game according to the European Union. That is why we signed a loan agreement with the right to purchase,” he added.
He explained: “Even if a club went and offered more than $ 4 million to Zamalek, it couldn’t get the player.”
He praised the international striker, saying: “It was not long ago that Mohamed joined the team, but everyone enjoys watching him. Not only is he a good footballer, but he is also an athlete with personality.”
“Despite this quality, he still offers very decent numbers. He will wear the yellow and red jersey for many years, and no one should doubt that,” he said.
Mustafa Muhammad scored 4 goals in his first 4 matches with Galata Saray, and is expecting a strong showdown with Alanya Sport in the Turkish League.
Galata Saray leads the Turkish league standings with 51 points, ahead of Besiktas and Fenerbahce on goal difference only after 24 rounds.
