Today Saturday, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met with Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Mohamed Mukhtar Jumaa, Minister of Endowments, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Ati, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, the Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance and Mr. Al-Qasir, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
The Spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the meeting addressed the follow-up of a series of activities of the Ministries of Endowments and Agriculture and the position on the organization of the overlap between endowments and the agrarian reform bodies in matters of agricultural land and land.
The Ministry of Endowments plan on continuing education for imams and teachers through the International Endowment Academy was reviewed, in addition to presenting advances in the field of authorship, translation, and publishing, and providing endowment publications to many libraries of Islamic centers abroad.
In this context, the President directed the continuous development of training programs for both imams and women preachers, and honed their communication skills by providing postgraduate studies for Ministry employees, especially in the areas of psychology and sociology.
The meeting also witnessed the presentation of the axes of the national project for the horizontal expansion of the agricultural area at the Republic level, especially in the regions of Central and North Sinai, Toshka, Hammam and Western Minya.
The President also directed to strengthen efforts to apply modern technological methods in agriculture and expand the application and dissemination of the modern irrigation system for agricultural lands at the level of the Republic, within the framework of the national project to maximize the agricultural area and the coordination between the Ministries of Agriculture and Irrigation to provide irrigation water, as well as increase the efficiency of the canal network and line it at the Republic level, as well as projects for wastewater treatment plants.
